Claire Kuo a Former Slave to Debts
Taiwanese singer, Claire Kuo, now enjoying success, revealed herself to be a credit card slave when she was still a student. The campus idol said she had previously signed off $50,000 in credit and ended up as a part time worker to clear the debt. Kuo, who is the endorsee of Cotton USA and Acuvue contact lens, is now also endorsing an online game that reportedly paid her with a seven-digit sum. Besides being in the TV commercial, her latest hit "Simple" is also the theme song of the ad.
At the press conference to announce the endorsement, the usual plain Jane appeared clad in a white mini tube dress. Currently a highly sought-for celebrity endorsee, Kuo described herself as a "prosperous person" when she developed rashes from jewelry made from synthetic gold or silver.
