Zoe Tay and Fann Wong faceoff after 14 years
The two A-list actresses Zoe Tay and Fann Wong reunite in The Ultimatum after their first collaboration in Golden Pillow 14 years ago. Media were invited onset at Tanah Merah Coast Road to capture a faceoff between these two veteran actresses. In the wilderness with long grass and mosquitoes lurking, Tay and Fann got themselves ready for a faceoff scene. Under the scorching hot sun, it was no wonder that the duo both raised their umbrellas once the cameras stopped rolling. Wong even brought a handheld fan to cool off.
Since the debut of the Star awards in 1994, both Tay and Wong had won the title of the Best Actress. Even after Golden Pillow, both seemed have gained more recognition for their acting, the public still reserve different takes on their skills. This time round, Tay and Wong can no longer escape the scrutiny of the audience in being compared, as they act side by side in this drama serial.
