Three members of the wildly popular Korean boyband TVXQ (Dong Bang Shin Ki or Tohoshinki) have formed their own act, the tentatively-named JYJ. Hero (Kim Jae-joong), Micky (Park Yoo-chun) and Xiah (Kim Jun-su) appeared in public on May 20 as the new entity JYJ, a name consisting of their respective initials.

Taiwan superstar Jay Chou revealed that he regretted not paying more attention in school and lamented his strict upbringing during the taping of a television programme on May 21, reported Chinese media. Chou, who went to Hollywood to shoot "The Green Hornet", said it was very difficult for him as he did not speak any English at all. "If I could go back in time, besides learning about music, I would also study English and martial arts," he said.

Hong Kong actor Ekin Cheng is contemplating marriage after seeing so many of his buddies tie the knot, reported Chinese media. Speaking to a Hong Kong entertainment magazine, the 42-year-old actor revealed that he was planning to get married, though he still needed some time to prepare himself. "I am seriously thinking about it (marriage). I feel that a lot of people around me have changed and have started their own families. I am happy for them but naturally started thinking about my own situation," said the "Storm Warriors" star.
