The 27-year-old was in Singapore for the annual Huayi Festival last weekend, in which she starred as a corporate spy in the Edward Lam play Man and Woman, War and Peace.
Leggy model-actress Lin Chi-ling will be making her first foray in the Japanese entertainment industry in a drama series starring Takuya Kimura. The 35-year-old grew famous in Japan after her debut acting stint in the history epic film, Red Cliff. Hong Kong actress Kathy Chow has revealed that she regretted her marriage to actor Ray Lui during an interview with a Hong Kong website. Chow, who turns 44 this year, secretly wed Lui who is 12 years her senior in the United States in 1988. At the time, she was just 21 years old. "Even though I had completely no experience in love and marriage, I did not take marriage lightly... We were very serious," Chow said.

Actress Aya Ueto, 24, attended an event in Ebina City on the weekend called "Sagamigawa Riverside Walk in Ebina", held to celebrate the upcoming opening of the first completed sections of the Ken-O Expressway in Kanagawa Prefecture. About 1.9 km of road connecting the Ebina Interchange of the Ken-O Expressway to the Ebina Junction of the Tomei Expressway will be opened to the public on Mar 5, as will 1.1 km of road connecting the Ken-O expressway to the Atsugi Interchange of the Tomei Expressway.

Renowned comedy film-maker Stephen Chow will begin shooting his new film "Tai Chi" which features prominent Hollywood stars Jack Black and Anne Hathaway in the United States in June this year, said Hong Kong media reports. The Hong Kong actor-director had been very quiet after releasing "CJ7" in 2008 and even pulled out from the high-profile "The Green Hornet" due to unspecified reasons, but his upcoming film "Tai Chi" looks set to make a splash in Hollywood.
Former F4 member Vanness Wu has denied any wrongdoing at a meet-the-fans session on Feb 21 after his film company became embroiled in a recent drug scandal. Earlier this month, an employee of the company, which is co-owned by Wu, Jimmy Hung (son of action star Sammo Hung) and a few others, was caught with marijuana during a raid on the company's premises. The employee, known only as Zhou, had also once worked as Wu's assistant, raising questions about whether Wu was involved with drugs as well.
