Fish Leong Accepts Marriage Proposal
Malaysian singer Fish Leong and her boyfriend Tony are planning for their marriage to take place at the end of this year. According to Taiwan media reports, Tony met Leong's mother during Lunar New Year this year in Malaysia, and other relatives during her Kuala Lumpur concert in mid-June, and is well-liked by all. On June 14, one day after the concert, Tony went down on his knees and proposed with a one-carat diamond ring worth NT$800,000 (about US$24,000), which Leong accepted with tears of joy.
Come Saturday, Leong and Tony, who met at her post-concert party in Shanghai in 2007, will be walking down the red carpet at the Taiwan Golden Melody Awards, hand-in-hand, as if "rehearsing" for their wedding.
