2PM No.1 in Thailand

Despite the controversy surrounding the absence of its leader, Korean idol group 2PM is No.1 in Thailand in more ways than one. According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, the now-six-member-group is the year's hottest-selling recording artist in Thailand. Following 2PM are such acclaimed foreign artists as Black Eyed Peas, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Mariah Carey.

In late June 2PM released "2PM Thailand Special Edition", composed of the group's first single "Hottest Time of the Day" and second single, "Time for Change", plus a music video DVD. 2PM is undoubtedly the most beloved musician in Thailand, given that the group received a platinum album from Sony Thailand for their special album.
