Kobukuro, L’arc en Ciel and Kumi Koda in New Pepsi Ad

There will be a battle of the bands between musicians Kobukuro, L'arc en Ciel and Kumi Koda in a new series of commercials for Pepsi Nex that began airing on Mar 3. In the commercials, Kobukuro plays "Layla" by Derek and the Dominos, while L'arc en Ciel jams to "I Love Rock n' Roll". Kumi Koda performs Cheryl Lynn's "Got To Be Real".
Kobukuro makes their commercial debut in the ads, and member Shunsuke Kuroda described how they went through 207 takes before getting it perfect. Fellow member Kentaro Kobuchi expressed his satisfaction with the final cut, saying, "There's a lot of energy it in, it's great."
