Carina Lau Once Rejected Tony Leung’s Proposal

When Hong Kong celebrity couple Carina Lau and Tony Leung tied the knot in a lavish wedding in Bhutan last year, it was widely believed that Lau had pressured her boyfriend of 19 years into marriage. While Leung, 47, did need some help from singer friend Faye Wong before he popped the question, Lau revealed that it wasn't first time lucky for the actor.
The 44-year-old actress had rejected Leung's proposal ten years ago because she felt that he was "like a kid". "He liked to be alone, but yet when he is enjoying his loneliness, he likes to see me having fun," she said.
